WHAT ACCENTS’ DOES

Accents' returns time with your family and loved ones.  John Does the things you don't always want to do. He takes away the worry about what's for dinner.  John will meet with you at your home and conduct a client interview and a kitchen walk-around.  He will discuss any food allergies, sensitivities, dislikes and special favorites. Then based on all the information you have provided, John will construct your personal menu.  The kitchen walk-around will allow John to make note of the kitchen layout and types of appliances that are available.  John will then establish an agreed upon cooking day.  John will shop for the freshest ingredients available for your meals.  Then he will arrive at your home with all the needed cooking tools and groceries to create a culinary heaven.  All of your meals will be labeled and packaged for your easy enjoyment. At the end, your kitchen will be left immaculately clean and your house smelling heavenly.  You will be provided a cooking emergency contact number should you have any questions or concerns; YOUR Personal Chef is always available!

WHO WE ARE

When owner and Chef John Strand moved to the community in 2004 he spent several months observing Shreveport / Bossier City restaurant scene and compared what was available here to the rest of the world that he traveled.  It became clear that the over all number of restaurants was way out of proportion and only a few of our local establishments could be considered as fine dining. Sadly this area is inundated with chain after chain where poor quality and limited service are an unfortunate norm.  After John was asked to prepare a special Valentines dinner by a friend who knew of his extensive culinary training and international internship, it became very clear what the next move was and Accents' was born.  The name suggests a broad selection of cuisine from all over the world.
